I
first set up Get Ahead as a tutoring business about ten years ago. Having
previously been a teacher, it was an obvious choice of home business for me, of
course. It was only later that the games element was added. The tutoring
will always be an important part of my work as that is where the games are conceived
and developed - for ‘real’ children in ‘real’ one-to-one learning situations.
And children, being born critics of course, enjoy testing my latest designs and
letting me know what works and what doesn’t! Their comments definitely
